杰佛瑞·怀特为“观察者”奥图配音，以该角色的身份负责剧集旁白。2018年9月，漫威影业宣布将为迪士尼旗下新串流媒体平台迪士尼+开发多部剧集。2019年3月，漫威确认制作一部基于漫画《假如…？》改编的动画剧集。4月，曾在电影中出演主要角色的多位演员确认将为动画配音。第一季的其中5集的动画由Squeeze制作完成，斯蒂芬·弗兰克担当动画师。

 

《假如…？》于2021年8月11日在线上串流媒体平台迪士尼+首播，第一季共9集，于2021年10月6日完结，属于漫威电影宇宙第四阶段。第二季亦在制作中，同为9集。
